Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is ITSA?

ITSA stands for Information Technology Student Alliance. We are a Registered Student Organization (RSO) at Lansing Community College.

What does ITSA do?

ITSA schedules Information Technology presentations from technology leaders in the greater Lansing area. We also have a monthly newsletter that profiles local technology companies and possible job openings. The newsletter also promotes students and Lansing Community College leaders in the Computer Information Technologies (CIT) department.

We do all of this in an effort to connect students with the local IT industry. Our goal is also to encourage students to support each other and realize the value of networking.

Does it cost money to join your club?

Your membership to the IT Student Alliance is free of charge.

We will be undertaking some fundraisers during the year, and you’re welcome to make some purchases during that time if it fits within your budget.

Who can join the IT Student Alliance?

Everyone is welcome – even if you’re not studying Information Technology! Please send an email to or subscribe above to become a member today.

Please let us know if you’re interested in serving on the ITSA Board. We welcome those who are committed serving the student community at Lansing Community College.
